Connect your CRM or webhook destination

Prepare a place for Snapbar to send leads, then confirm the connection is healthy.

Destinations are the services that receive guest details or completed results. Connect the destination once at the team level, then attach it only to the experiences that should send data there.

Steps

  1. 1Open Integrations and stay on the Destinations tab.
  2. 2Select Connect destination, choose Slack, and paste the incoming webhook address for the channel that should receive leads. Check the channel carefully before saving.
  3. 3Wait until the destination appears as Active, then open the experience that should use it.
  4. 4To reach a CRM such as HubSpot or Salesforce, ask your Snapbar contact for a Zapier invite. Your technical teammate then builds a Zap from the Snapbar trigger to the CRM action you need.
  5. 5For a webhook, ask a technical teammate for a public secure receiver address. Have them finish the signed webhook setup from the Developer tab and save the signing secret when it is shown.
  6. 6Attach the connected destination to an experience and send a test lead before using it with guests.

What to know

  • Connections belong to the team.Connecting a service does not send every lead automatically. Each experience chooses which active destination it uses.
  • Reconnect required means sending has stopped for that service.Open the connection flow again and reconnect the same destination. Send a new test lead after the destination returns to Active.
  • Webhook setup needs a technical owner. The receiver must be publicly reachable, verify Snapbar signatures, and prevent duplicate processing. Local computer addresses are intentionally blocked.
  • Signing secrets are shown once. The technical owner should store the secret immediately. If it is lost, remove the endpoint and create a new one.

Tips

  • Use a test channel or receiver before connecting a production destination.
  • Name the destination owner in your event plan so someone can approve a reconnect quickly.
