Choose the lead rule that matches your guest promise and your destination use.
Results and Data
Written forTeam admins and experience managersEach attached destination has a consent policy. Marketing consent is the recommended default. Sending all leads is a deliberate exception that requires you to confirm your authority in the dashboard.
Steps
- 1Open the experience and choose its Destinations tab.
- 2Select the connected destination you want to configure.
- 3Choose Marketing consented when the destination is used for marketing or follow-up that depends on guest permission.
- 4Choose All leads only when your organization has a lawful reason to send every captured lead and your guest notice supports that use.
- 5If you choose All leads, read the warning and check the confirmation in the dashboard.
- 6Save the destination settings, then send a test lead.
What to know
- Marketing consented is the default.Snapbar checks consent when the lead is queued and checks it again before sending. A guest without marketing consent appears as Skipped with reason.
- All leads requires a dashboard confirmation. The confirmation cannot be bypassed by a developer key. It records that your organization accepts responsibility for the broader use.
- A test lead does not replace a guest-flow test. After the destination test succeeds, complete one real test submission with the consent choice your event will use and confirm the result in Activity.
- The destination still has responsibilities.Consent details travel with the lead when available, but your organization remains responsible for how the receiving service stores and uses the data.
Tips
- Write down the approved policy in the event launch plan.
- Do not replay a lead that was skipped because consent was absent.
