Save your photo on an iPhone
Download a Snapbar result from Safari and save it to the Photos app.
On this page
Open your Snapbar result in Safari, download it, and save the image or video to the Photos app.
Steps
Open your result email or result page in Safari. If it opened inside another app, use that app's menu to choose Open in Safari.
If your event offers downloads, tap Save or Download on the result page. If the iPhone share menu opens, choose Save Image or Save Video to finish saving.
If the photo opens by itself, touch and hold the image, then choose Save to Photos.
If Safari downloads a file instead, tap the download arrow beside the address bar, open Downloads, and select the file.
Tap the Share button, then choose Save Image or Save Video.
Open the Photos app and look in Recently Saved, or Recents on older versions of iOS.
What to know
- The download may be in the Files app first.Safari can save the result to Files instead of Photos. Open the file, tap Share, then choose Save Image or Save Video.
- Downloads depend on the event settings. If no save or download option appears, ask the event organizer whether downloads are enabled. Closing the iPhone share menu without choosing a save action does not save the file.
- In-app browsers can hide download controls. If you opened the result from Gmail, Instagram, LinkedIn, or another app, move the page to Safari before downloading.
Tips
- Keep the result email until you have confirmed the photo or video appears in Photos.
- For multiple results, download and save each one separately.
