Set up a gallery or slideshow
Choose a display, customize its layout or playback, and preview it on the screen your guests will use.

Use Displays inside your experience to set up a public gallery or event screen. Choose how results appear, who can view them, and how to share the display.
Choose the viewing experience
Gallery: guests browse results, download photos, and share links. Useful for recap pages, websites, and tablets.
Slideshow: photos play on a venue screen without a guest needing to browse. Useful for monitors and projection.
Live Mosaic: photos build a logo or key image. Snapbar adds this display for eligible events; use the separate Mosaic setup and testing guides.
Open or create a display
Open the experience and select Displays. New experiences include a Gallery and Slideshow; check the existing cards before creating another.
New experiences start with a Gallery and a Slideshow display, both active. Each card has Edit, Open, and Share actions. Use Create Display for another gallery or slideshow, or edit an existing display. Name it for its purpose, such as “Venue screen” or “Recap gallery.”
Customize a gallery
Set desktop columns, gap, items per page, and sort order for the website or screen where it will appear.
Choose whether to show Download, Share, and, for a photo print station, the Print button. These controls apply to that display.
Use the shared appearance and access settings for the background and password protection.
Customize a slideshow
Adjust rotation speed and loop behavior for the event pace.
Choose New Photos placement: load at the top to put the newest photo first, or at the bottom to keep photos already on screen in place.
Playback controls appear at the bottom right once a photo is present. On touchscreens, tap the three-dot handle; with a mouse or remote, move the pointer or press a key to reveal them.
What to know
- Public displays are different from a guest’s personal recipient gallery, which is configured in Sharing.
- If the event includes a Live Mosaic, it appears alongside your other displays. Ask Snapbar if the card is missing.
Tips
- Check portrait and landscape orientation on the final screen, not only the dashboard preview.
