Understand roles and missing controls
Learn why some dashboard navigation, setup tabs, billing tools, or advanced controls may not appear for your account.
Team and Billing
Written forTeam membersThe dashboard only shows controls that match your role and the current experience. If a tab or action is missing, it usually means your role does not include that workflow or the experience type does not use that control.
Steps
- 1Confirm you are in the correct team workspace.
- 2Open the relevant experience and review the tabs you can see.
- 3If a setup area is missing, ask a team owner or Snapbar support whether your role should have access.
- 4Avoid using a copied direct URL to reach a hidden area; the action may still be blocked.
- 5After a role change, refresh the page and reopen the team workspace.
What to know
- Common customer workflows include reviewing submissions, exporting leads, reading analytics, configuring the booth, publishing changes, sharing links, and managing displays when your role allows those actions.
- Some setup areas, like AI output styles and credit management, are handled by Snapbar for most teams. Help articles only cover what your team can do directly.
- If an article or teammate mentions a control you cannot see, do not hunt for it. It is probably limited to another role. Contact support and explain what you are trying to do.
Tips
- When asking for access, include what you are trying to do, not only the name of the missing tab.
- If you only need a one-time setup change, requesting the change may be better than expanding your role.
