Get started with Trading Cards
Prepare collectible card outputs with field mapping, artwork, stats, delivery, and display planning.
Experiences
Written forCreative and event teamsTrading Cards turn guest captures and custom details into collectible card-style outputs. Plan the card design, stats, field labels, and sharing surface before guests begin submitting.
Steps
- 1Open your Trading Cards experience, or create a new experience and choose Trading Cards. Snapbar usually sets up your first one during onboarding.
- 2Collect the card artwork, frame, logo, sponsor elements, example card copy, and any required stat fields.
- 3Define which guest-provided fields should appear on the card, such as name, role, team, superpower, score, or custom answers.
- 4Use the Microsite tab to configure booth copy, data fields, consent, overlays, and success messaging.
- 5Card overlay mapping and advanced artwork placement are handled by Snapbar during your launch review, so have your card artwork ready when you select Request Launch.
- 6Run a test for short and long guest answers so the card still looks polished.

What to know
- Trading Cards depend on field length and layout. Long names, team names, or custom answers can crowd the design if they are not tested.
- Card artwork should leave clear space for dynamic text and guest imagery.
- If cards are part of a sponsor campaign or gamified event, confirm whether guests need download links, public displays, printed signs, or recap galleries.
Tips
- Set character expectations in the booth copy when card fields need to stay short.
- Test with realistic names and answers, not only short placeholder text.
- Confirm whether the final card should be optimized for phone sharing, display screens, or print.
